Further Dishonesty: Assembly Floor Analysis SB 277

You don’t even have to read the SB 277 Assembly Floor Analysis closely in order to ferret out untruths.

Exhibit A:

Here’s what the analysis says:

“Related legislation. SB 792 (Mendoza) of the current legislative session, prohibits a person from being employed at a day care center or day care home unless he or she has been immunized against influenza, pertussis, and measles. SB 792 was approved by the Senate on May 22, 2015, by a vote of 34-3 and is currently pending committee referral in the Assembly. [emphasis added]

Here is SB 792:

(a) Commencing September 1, 2016, a person shall not be employed at a day care center if he or she has not been immunized according to the schedule for routine adult immunizations, as recommended by the federal Centers for Disease Control’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, with the exception of immunization against human papillomavirus (HPV). [emphasis added]

(3) The person submits a written declaration that he or she has declined the influenza vaccination. This exemption applies only to the influenza vaccine.
Ergo: the FULL CDC Schedule is REQUIRED, and flu shot is actually now exempted. BTW don’t forget, failure to comply is a crime.
Just one of the delightful untruths. Giddyup! Can’t wait to hear the lies and misinformation that are propagated tomorrow!

Calawmama – How can they force this when EEOC, title VII, Religious exemption says that they cannot eliminate religious objections to mandatory vaccines?
